About this manual
This manual is published under section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA), as amended by the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). It explains what records Vantage PT holds, the personal information it processes, and how to request access to information or exercise your POPIA rights.
Body details
Vantage PT is an independently operated South African technology platform for personal trainers. Company registration is in progress; contact support@vantagept.co.za for the current registered entity name and details.
Information Officer
An Information Officer has not yet been registered with the Information Regulator. Until registration is complete, direct all PAIA requests and POPIA queries to support@vantagept.co.za, which is monitored by the person responsible for this function.
Records held
Access-request submissions from this website (name, email, source, and date); once the product is in use, trainer and client account, programming, messaging, and payment records held in the Vantage PT application. See our Privacy Policy for what is collected through this website and why.
Requesting access to a record
Email support@vantagept.co.za describing the record you want, sufficient detail to locate it, and your contact details. We will respond within the timeframes PAIA requires. The Information Regulator's prescribed request forms are available at inforegulator.org.za.
Fees
A request fee and reproduction costs may apply, in line with the fees prescribed under PAIA regulations. We will notify you of any applicable fee before processing a request.
Grounds for refusal
Access to a record may be refused only on grounds permitted under PAIA, such as protecting another person's privacy, commercially sensitive information, or legal privilege.
The Information Regulator
If you are unhappy with how a request was handled, or with how your personal information was processed, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za or inforeg@justice.gov.za.
